LWF WG Summary Paper-Universal Periodic Review-Myanmar

Following the publishing of the UPR Working Group Outcome Report on the 10th of November, LWF Myanmar felt that the way the Report was presented did not assist stakeholders at large in understanding the position of the government vis a vis some important topics. The recommendations are laid out in the UPR Working Group Outcome Report in the order in which they were presented to the floor. LWF Myanmar decided to analyze the Working Group Outcome Report in order to simplify it. The LWF Summary Paper was presented at a Seminar so as to allow a wider range of civil society to understand the process and kick start coordination on following steps.
