LWF Myanmar hosted Artisan Toolkit Training to AZEECON Members

As a part of Asia Zone Emergency & Environment Co-operation Network (AZEECON) training activities, LWF Myanmar has hosted the Artisan Business Coach Training to its members in Yangon at Panda Hotel on 19th to 23rd February, 2018. The training was facilitated by the LWF Myanmar Training Team and focal staff from four countries (including Myanmar) Indonesia, Laos, and Bangladesh actively participated in the training.

The methods used in this training were brainstorming, group discussion, plenary discussions, role plays, exercises, simulation, demonstrations, field trip, games and energizers in interactive ways.

The training mainly emphasized on the understanding on the characteristics of artisans and entrepreneurship, generate innovative business idea and learn business models, understanding marketing and its strategies, financial management and costing, customer services and public relation, sales tracking and developing a business plan by using various business tools. Group discussions and the sharing sessions about business experiences of participants were done effectively and knowledgeably among participants.

The Myanmar Artisan Toolkit is one of LWF Myanmar newly implemented projects that promoting with the knowledge and tools to overcome common business challenges and improve practices in key business areas and to strengthen their own businesses or complement their existing programs to support the craft industry.
