IDDR Day Celebration in Min Gan Quarter

LWF facilitated Rakhine Women Network to observe the International DRR Day Celebration in Min Gan Quarter.
A total of 64 attendees participated in the event and RRD Director, officers from Department of Fire Brigade, Meteorology and Hydrology, Myanmar Red Cross Society, Village Development Committee, Social Groups (WDG and YDG), RWN and LWF staff were among the participants.
Six students from the Min Gan Schools (resettled IDPs, host and economic migrants) were awarded with the prize money who were the winner in the essay and drawing competitions on theme of IDRR day 2017.
