Exchange Exposure Training Visit (EETV) Conducting in Yangon, Myanmar

On May 16 2017, the Exchange Exposure Training Visit (EETV) training is conducting at the Summit Parkview Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar for three days (16-18 May 2017), which is holding under the management of Asia Zone Emergency and Environment Co-operation Network (AZEECON).

The representative persons from each Lutheran World Federation organizations in Asia zone (Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Nepal and Myanmar) had gathered accordingly.

The training is mainly intended to have proper collaboration among the Asia Zone LWF organizations and seeking to improve the project activities through learning and sharing from the different countries. During the training, the topic related to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), the process of human rights and advocacy and how to make community understood about human rights were expected to be exchange the experience according to the countries.

AZEECON is an informal, member-led regional network of field programs and former programs of Lutheran World Federation/Department of World Service active in promoting disaster risk reduction in seven countries. It was founded in 1997.

AZEECON’s primary role is to primarily support capacity-building and facilitate practical, peer-to-peer learning in the broad field of LRRD (Linking Relief, Rehabilitation & Development) responding to members’ needs and priorities. AZEECON offers a convenient and cost effective platform for member organizations and staff to gain knowledge, exchange ideas and interact regionally.
