The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) is a global faith-based, humanitarian, development and rights-based advocacy International Non-Government Organization, headquartered in Geneva and operational in Myanmar since 2008.
LWF Myanmar aims to promote human rights of vulnerable communities in Myanmar by empowering communities to effectively claim their rights in priority thematic areas (land rights, right to legal identity, rights of women and the right to Education) and by engaging duty-bearers at local and national levels.
LWF Myanmar program responds to human suffering and challenge its causes. We want to contribute to the alleviation of poverty in Myanmar through rights-based empowerment for sustainable development. We serve all people irrespective of ethnicity, gender, religion, race or political conviction.
